About the role

We're looking for an experienced Mechanical or Electrical Engineer / NABERS Assessor to take on client-facing, technically complex work and help grow our business. You'll lead NABERS ratings across office buildings, shopping centres, hotels, data centres, apartments and aged care facilities. You'll conduct energy audits and improvement planning, manage client relationships, and support the quality of work across the team through peer review and mentoring.

What you'll do

Perform the full suite of NABERS ratings (energy, water, waste, indoor setting, carbon neutrality) independently. Conduct CBD tenancy lighting assessments and BEEC applications. Lead energy and water audits that underpin improvement plans — helping clients understand what drives their consumption and what changes matter.

Participate in our internal QA process,



peer-reviewing other assessors' work and maintaining standard. Manage monthly and quarterly reporting cycles. Work directly with facility managers and building teams to understand operations and priorities.

Support the development of new service lines and help identify where we can expand our offering.

Key Requirements

- Minimum one year's hands-on NABERS rating experience, with a good demonstrated understanding of NABERS Rules and Methodology and the Commercial Building Disclosure Program. (required)
- Accreditation as a NABERS Assessor (required).
- Mechanical or Electrical engineering degree (required).
- Green Star Performance Accreditation (very highly regarded).
- Comfort working independently on site and collaborating with internal teams.
- A positive, service-driven attitude with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional client care
- Strong numerical skills, including proficiency in Excel and data analysis
- High attention to detail with the ability to follow established processes and protocols
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A genuine willingness to learn, grow, and develop your skills and career over time
- Flexibility to work occasional early mornings or late evenings as required
- Proven experience working effectively within a team,

- Occasional interstate travel required.
