About the role

The guest experience starts the moment someone walks into their room. If it's clean and set up right, the whole stay starts well. If it's not, nothing else fixes it. That's the job.

As Housekeeping Supervisor, you'll lead the housekeeping team and set the standard for every room in the building. It's a hands‑on role - you'll be on the floor, not behind a desk.

Day to day, you'll:

- Lead, train and develop the room attendant team, and run the daily briefing
- Coordinate room allocations and turnarounds with front office to hit check‑in deadlines
- Inspect rooms before they're released and fix issues before a guest ever sees them
- Manage linen and cleaning supply stock, including ordering
- Flag maintenance issues as you spot them
- Keep the operation safe and compliant – chemical handling, manual handling, room entry and guest privacy

About you





You've worked in housekeeping at a 4-star (or better) hotel, ideally with some supervisory experience – you know what a properly presented room looks like and how to get a team delivering it consistently.

You notice the things other people miss, and you fix them.

You're comfortable leading a team, giving honest feedback, and keeping people accountable.

You can work a rotating roster including weekends, public holidays and peak periods.

Pay and conditions

This is a casual role paid at $39.13 per hour (Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2020, Level 5 – Guest Service Supervisor), with penalty rates on top for weekends and public holidays.
