With over 500 members, 25 tennis courts, a licensed clubhouse and bar, coaching programs, competitions and a vibrant calendar of social events, Alexander Park Tennis Club is a thriving community hub.
About the Role
This is a diverse, hands‑on role combining club management, hospitality, administration, events and facilities management.
Responsibilities
- Lead day‑to‑day operations of the clubhouse and licensed bar, including staff coordination, stock control and supplier management.
- Manage member services, administration, communications and financial administration.
- Coordinate venue hire, court bookings, club events and member activities.
- Manage contractors, suppliers and maintenance of club facilities.
- Prepare operational reports and work closely with the Board to implement club initiatives.
About You
- Experience in club, venue, hospitality, operations or administration management.
- Managing licensed premises or hospitality operations, including staff rostering, stock control and supplier relationships.
- Financial administration,
including invoicing, banking and reconciliation using accounting software such as Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks.
- Event coordination, customer service and stakeholder engagement.
- Managing contractors or facilities.
- Robust organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills.
- The ability to work independently while building positive relationships with members, volunteers and the Board.
- A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate (or willingness to obtain before commencement) is required.
