We are on the search for an experienced QA Automation Engineer (Playwright & Salesforce CRM) for a contract opportunity based in Brisbane CBD. This is a full‑time contract engagement for an initial period of 6 months, with the possibility of extension. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of a Salesforce CRM platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks, executing API and integration testing, and supporting end‑to‑end quality assurance activities across the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

- Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable end‑to‑end test automation frameworks using Playwright .
- Developing and executing API integration test suites using Postman and Newman .
- Creating and executing both manual and automated test cases across UI and API layers.
- Integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and supporting test planning and defect management activities.
- Collaborating with business analysts, developers, and project stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes.
- Leveraging AI‑assisted development tools such as Claude Code or similar technologies to accelerate test development and improve test coverage.

Qualifications and experience

- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience developing automated test frameworks using Playwright .




- Proven experience testing Salesforce CRM platforms and a strong understanding of CRM workflows and data structures.
- Robust API and integration testing experience using Postman and Newman .
- Experience creating and executing manual test cases and conducting exploratory testing.
- Experience working with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar DevOps toolsets .
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a hybrid environment , with a minimum of 3 days per week in the Brisbane CBD office.

Highly regarded

- Experience using Claude Code , GitHub Copilot, or similar AI‑assisted development tools.
- Experience managing test plans within Azure DevOps, GitLab, or similar environments.
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform App Builder .

Compensation

For Australian‑based contract and temporary roles only, the pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading. This does not apply to permanent or fixed‑term roles. Due to Victorian labour hire licence restrictions, Hudson is not advertising roles that are based in Victoria.
