What You’ll Do

- Deliver electrical engineering design and consultancy services across medium and high voltage power infrastructure projects.
- Support the development of design packages for transmission and distribution networks, renewable energy connections and associated infrastructure.
- Contribute to projects involving substations, earthing and bonding, electrical protection systems, traction power and EV infrastructure.
- Collaborate with project teams locally and across Jacobs' Global Delivery Centres to deliver high‑quality engineering outcomes.
- Participate in client and project meetings, design reviews and technical workshops.
- Undertake power system and protection studies, technical analysis and design activities.
- Support the development of junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions for clients.

You may bring

- Solid experience in electrical engineering, ideally within power infrastructure, utilities, energy, transport, industrial or related sectors.
- Experience working on MV and/or HV systems, including transmission,



distribution or renewable energy projects.
- Exposure to primary and/or secondary electrical systems, protection systems, substations or power system studies.
- Knowledge of Australian standards and engineering best practices.
- Strong stakeholder and communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from experienced engineers and technical leaders.
- Interest in supporting Australia's energy transition and sustainable infrastructure future.
