The UGL Utilities team designs, constructs and maintains critical infrastructure across the water and power sectors. It works on assets such as power generation, transmission lines, substations, electrical distribution networks, water and wastewater treatment plants and pipelines. The team is looking for a Commissioning Engineer to join our Perth workforce. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will contribute to the commissioning of complex systems in a business unit with an extensive pipeline of work in Western Australia, reporting to the Project Director.
Responsibilities
- Conduct functional and performance primary and secondary testing of systems.
- Prepare detailed commissioning documentation and reports.
- Train operations and maintenance staff for system handover.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
- Extensive experience in commissioning and testing complex systems.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and team coordination abilities.
