Portland District Health (PDH) provides an integrated health service for the community. The hospital was established in 1856 on the current site and now provides a comprehensive range of services that include:

- Hospital based Medical and Surgical services
- Medical Imaging (Radiology)
- Pharmacy and Pathology
- 24/7 Urgent Care Centre for emergency treatment
- Residential aged care for 30 residents at Harbourside Lodge

About the Candidate

Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) via Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Demonstrated ability to practice collaboratively and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Able to demonstrate good assessment, problem solving and organisational skills in a clinical setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Valuable computer literacy, including ability to access and utilise organisational IT systems and emerging technologies relevant to delivering clinical care. Understanding of opportunities and challenges associated with providing rural health care services, Police Record Check, Current Victorian Working with Children's check, Current Immunisation status. This role must meet the requirements of the Portland District Health Immunisation Policy.
