About the Opportunity
As a Senior Case Manager, you will work alongside people who are experiencing homelessness, housing instability, or tenancy challenges. You will provide high‑quality case management, advocacy, referrals, practical support, and community education to help individuals and families maintain safe and sustainable housing.
Working within a trauma‑informed and culturally responsive framework, you will support clients to identify goals, navigate complex systems, access services, and build long‑term stability.
This role also provides an opportunity to contribute to community awareness initiatives, stakeholder partnerships, and the delivery of the “Moving Forward” education program.
About you
You are passionate about social justice and supporting people facing complex challenges.
You bring strong case management skills, sound judgement, and the ability to build trusting relationships with diverse clients and stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will bring
- Qualifications in Human Services, Social Sciences, Social Work, Community Services, or a related field.
- Experience working with vulnerable individuals, families, or communities in community‑based settings.
- Knowledge of housing, homelessness, child protection, and community support systems.
- Demonstrated experience working with complex client needs and tenancy support.
- Strong written, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A commitment to culturally secure and respectful practice with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and culturally diverse communities.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
- Experience of working closely with and having a strong understanding of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander culture would be considered an advantage.
