RCJ is seeking a commercially minded Account Manager to join one of Australia's most established independent media agencies. In this role, you'll work with well-known brands across a range of categories, planning and buying across multiple media channels while owning client relationships and driving measurable business results.

What success looks like in this role:

You’ll be successful in this role if you can confidently lead client relationships, translate objectives into clear media plans, and proactively drive strong commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

- Own and lead client accounts end-to-end as the primary day-to-day contact
- Build strong, trusted relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service
- Lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of digital-led media activity
- Translate client objectives into clear, commercially sound media strategies and plans
- Partner closely with internal specialists to ensure seamless briefing, collaboration, and delivery
- Analyse campaign performance and confidently present insights, recommendations, and next steps
- Manage budgets, timelines, forecasts, and reporting with accountability and attention to detail
- Spot opportunities for account growth and help expand client partnerships over time
- Supporting the Account Director and developing relationships with internal team, media vendors and other partners.
- Staying up to date with marketing and media industry trends and applying this knowledge to the benefit of clients





Key requirements:

- 3 years of experience in Media, Digital or Account Management
- Robust digital capability is essential
- Offline media experience is advantageous
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Confident running accounts and managing multiple stakeholders
- Commercially minded, organised, and solutions-focused
- A proactive communicator who builds credibility quickly and loves being close to clients
