EWB is a leading Australian manufacturer and supplier of whiteboards, glass boards, pinboards, acoustic panels and education solutions. You will be working closely with architects, interior designers, schools, universities and commercial builders to create productive, collaborative and inspiring learning and working environments.

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Architectural Sales Specification Manager to increase the specification of EWB products and partner products across education, commercial, government and institutional projects.

Position Purpose

The Architectural Sales Specification Specialist is responsible for building strong relationships with architects, interior designers, commercial builders, acoustic consultants and other key project stakeholders to ensure EWB and partner products are specified at the design stage of projects.

The role focuses on generating long-term project opportunities by influencing product selection before projects reach tender and construction phases.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural & Design Engagement

Develop and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers and specification writers.

Conduct regular face-to-face meetings with design practices across Victoria and interstate where required.

Coordinate with major suppliers opportunities to partner delivering product education sessions to architects and interior designers.

Present EWB solutions for education, workplace, health, government and commercial projects.

Position EWB as a preferred supplier for whiteboards, acoustic panels and specialist communication surfaces.

Project Specification

Identify projects during concept, planning and design stages.

Secure specifications for EWB products within project documentation.

Assist design teams with product selection, technical advice and compliance requirements.

Provide product schedules,



technical data sheets and specification documentation.

Monitor projects through design, tender and construction phases.

Track EWB specifications and engage with stakeholders to see specification follow through and delivery.

Market Development

Build relationships with architects, interior designers, commercial builders, acoustic consultants, direct clients, schools, building managers and project managers.

Attend industry events, exhibitions and networking opportunities.

Identify emerging market opportunities and trends.

Develop strategies to increase market share within education and commercial sectors.

Product & Technical Support

Maintain a strong understanding of EWB's product range.

Assist with the development of specification guides, BIM/Revit content and technical resources.

Provide feedback from the market regarding product development opportunities.

Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing teams regarding product capabilities.

Internal Collaboration

Work closely with estimating, sales and project management teams.

Ensure specified projects are effectively handed over for pricing and delivery.

Maintain accurate project information within the CRM system.

Provide regular pipeline and activity reporting.

Key Performance Indicators

Number of architectural and design firm meetings conducted.

Number of presentations delivered.

New architectural and design relationships established.

Number of architects and interior designers specifying our products and solutions.

Number and value and of projects specified.

Number of projects tracked through design and tender stages.





Growth in revenue generated from newly specified projects.

Skills & Experience

An independent self-starter, who is eager to win specifications and support the broader growth of our business

Previous experience in specification sales, architectural sales or business development.

Experience working within the construction, building products, interiors, furniture or acoustic industries.

Strong presentation and relationship-building skills.

Ability to read plans and understand construction documentation.

Strong organisational and project tracking capabilities.

Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Existing relationships with architects, interior designers or education consultants.

Experience with acoustic products, interior finishes, furniture or educational environments.

Knowledge of BIM, Revit or specification software (not essential but a positive).

Personal Attributes
