The Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) is on a bold journey towards Brisbane 2032 and beyond. Following the extraordinary success of QLD athletes at the recent Olympic and Paralympic Games, QAS is focused on delivering even more medal‑winning moments through to Los Angeles 2028 and the 2032 Games.

Role Summary

Casual relieving Strength and Conditioning (S&C;) coach supporting elite athletes across multiple sports as required by QAS.

Responsibilities

- Deliver S&C; programmes to high‑performance athletes.
- Work with athletes and teams across a range of sports and skill levels.
- Assist in training planning and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with coaching staff to optimise athlete development.
- Maintain compliance with sport safety, first aid, and anti‑doping protocols.

Qualifications

- Degree qualification in sport and exercise science or equivalent (minimum).
- Level 2 ASCA (minimum) or ability to attain prior to commencement.
- Sports Integrity Australia Antidoping Fundamentals and Annual Update, First Aid & CPR.
- Valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card).




- Experience delivering S&C; programmes to high‑performance athletes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
