As they continue to grow and because of internal promotions, they now seek an experienced Manager to join their collaborative and talented team.
About the Role
As Manager – Tax & Business Advisory, you’ll play a key leadership role within their Tax & Compliance team. You’ll provide expert taxation and business advisory services, manage client relationships and mentor the next generation of accountants.
Working closely with the Directors, you’ll help deliver outstanding outcomes for clients while driving quality, efficiency and continuous improvement across the team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the workflow and performance of your aligned team
- Reviewing and preparing financial statements, income tax returns, BAS and IASProviding strategic taxation and business advisory services to clients
- Managing year‑end compliance and tax planning processes across your client portfolio
- Reviewing the work of junior team members and providing coaching, mentoring and technical guidance
- Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a trusted adviser
- Working collaboratively with Directors on complex tax and advisory matters
- Identifying opportunities to add value and improve client outcomes
About You
You’ll be an experienced accounting professional who combines strong technical expertise with exceptional interpersonal skills.
You’ll bring:
- CA or CPA qualification
- Extensive experience in public practice accounting within a similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and business advisory
- Experience using Xero and MYOB
- Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop team members
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Outstanding attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced setting
