We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant/Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates with a science background who are comfortable working 12-hour shifts and are available a few times per week located at Rowville

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with laboratory processes and sample handling
- Support reference testing procedures, particularly within infectious diseases (training provided if required)
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to compliance and safety standards
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the laboratory environment

Requirements

- Background in science (e.g., biology, microbiology, or related field) preferred
- Understanding or exposure to reference testing is highly regarded
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts starting from approximately 6:00 AM
- Availability to work several shifts per week
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
