About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and empathetic Allocations/Rostering Coordinator to oversee the delivery and coordination of high-quality services across our different programs. You will be responsible for coordinating staff rosters and allocating suitable support workers, nurses and care professionals to client services across our various programs.
You will work closely with clients, participants, employees, contractors and internal teams to ensure services are filled efficiently while maintaining compliance with funding requirements, staff availability, qualifications and client preferences.
This role will involve a rotating roster including after hours, that will be shared within a team.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Allocate appropriately skilled staff based on client needs, qualifications, location and availability
- RosteringshiftswithinAgedCare Facilities, Hospitals,Client Homes, NursingHomes and Supported Independent Living House
- Coordinate and schedule services such as personal care, domestic support,
community access, social care or allied health services across our different programs
- Maintain high-quality documentation, case notes, and incident reports to meet reporting and legislative requirements
- Manage last-minute roster changes, cancellations and urgent staffing requests
- Ensure all shifts are filled efficiently while maintaining service continuity
- Work collaboratively with Recruitment, HR and Operations to ensure workforce capacity meets operational demands
- Build strong relationships with clients, families, and external healthcare providers
- On-call afterhours (rostered)
The ideal candidate will have experience and skills as follows:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in rostering, workforce planning, scheduling or allocations
- Experience within NDIS, aged care, disability, healthcare or labour hire
- Experience using rostering software
- A high level of computer literacy and an ability to pick up new technology quickly and easily and work across multiple systems
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
