MY DAD COOKS PTY LTD (T/A Yori Korean Restaurant) is a well-established Korean BBQ restaurant located in Epping, NSW. We are committed to delivering authentic Korean cuisine and outstanding customer service. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Full-Time Chef to join our professional kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a wide variety of authentic Korean dishes.
- Menu planning and seasonal menu development.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of new menu items and seasonal specials while maintaining authentic Korean flavours.
- Prepare, marinate, season and portion meat, seafood, vegetables and other ingredients for Korean BBQ and menu items.
- Ensure consistency, quality and presentation of all food served.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards in accordance with NSW Food Safety regulations.
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety Standards and HACCP procedures.
- Monitor stock levels, rotate stock and minimise food waste.
- Ordering, receiving and storing food supplies.
- Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen.




- Work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.

Skills & Experience

- Applicants should have:
- Certificate III or Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery, or equivalent commercial kitchen experience.
- Minimum 1 year of full-time commercial cooking experience in Korean cuisine.
- Experience preparing authentic Korean cuisine, including Korean BBQ, is highly regarded.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Positive attitude with strong teamwork skills.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

What We Offer

- Annual salary of $79,500 - $82,000 plus Superannuation.
