About the Role We are seeking a skilled Automotive Electrician to support the assembly, servicing and maintenance of caravans and recreational vehicles. The role involves diagnosing faults, repairing electrical systems, and installing electrical components and accessories within caravan units.

Skills and experience required for this position are a minimum of AQF Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV in Automotive Electrical Technology and at least 12 months work experience in a related field. Responsibilities Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring and electronic systems in caravans and recreational vehicles, including lighting, battery, charging and monitoring systems Use diagnostic and test equipment such as multimeters to locate electrical and electronic malfunctions Read and interpret wiring diagrams, circuit schematics and technical drawings to determine repair and installation requirements Dismantle and remove faulty electrical assemblies and components for inspection, testing or replacement Install and connect power-operated accessories including air-conditioning units, water pumps, refrigerators, and electric awning systems to onboard vehicle electrical systems Fit and test caravan electrical systems, including battery systems, solar components,



inverters and related equipment Test, service and replace defective caravan electrical components, including voltage regulators, relays, fuses, lamps, switches, battery chargers, control units and related 12V, 24V and 48V off-grid electrical equipment. Repair and replace damaged wiring harnesses and connectors to ensure safe and reliable operation Adjust and calibrate energy-management systems, sway controllers and monitoring systems Inspect completed work and perform quality checks to ensure safe and reliable operation of vehicle electrical systems Maintain accurate service, maintenance and inspection records in accordance with company procedures Collaborate with mechanical, plumbing and cabinetry teams to integrate electrical systems during caravan assembly and final inspection

Skills and Requirements Relevant qualification at AQF Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV in Automotive Electrical Technology Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience Experience with 12v, 24v & 48v off grid electrical systems Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair electrical and electronic faults Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams Current driver’s licence Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment Salary AUD 80,000 plus superannuation
