Role Based in Gympie, QLD

Internally referred to as Coordinator - Growth Management About the Role

Help shape the future of one of Queensland's fastest-growing regional communities.

Reporting to the Manager Strategic Planning and Growth, you'll lead Council's Growth Management Program, delivering strategic planning initiatives that support housing, infrastructure and sustainable regional development. Duties

Lead Council's Growth Management Strategy and major planning projects

Deliver structure planning, land supply and growth sequencing initiatives

Provide expert advice on strategic planning and development outcomes

Build partnerships with government agencies, developers and industry stakeholders

Manage consultants and deliver projects on time and within budget Skills & Experience To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

Degree in Urban Planning, Development Management or a related discipline

Experience in growth management, strategic planning or land use planning





Experience developing Master Plans and negotiating Infrastructure Agreements

Solid knowledge of Queensland planning legislation

Current Queensland C Class Driver Licence or ability to obtain one Benefits

Earn $120K to $127K PLUS 15% Employer Super

Super increases to 16% from July 2027

Relocation Assistance available for eligible candidates
