Service Technician

Agri Tech is a locally owned and operated business, focussed on providing the support and expertise required to the Dairy Industry throughout Tasmania.

The solutions we offer our clients include:

- Sales of the latest technology milking equipment & consumables

- Emergency support for dairy farming relating to milking, milk quality & other dairy operation functions

- Offering the products and technical expertise to help maintain the milk quality standard of modern dairy operations

We are currently looking for a recent full time team member based from our Scottsdale workshop.

A Service Technician will need a trade back ground to underpin the skill set required as the industry has some quite unique requirements, full training will be provided to the successful applicant.

- Be able to sell the services and products promoted by the company

- Great communicator

- Good time management

- Have a good mechanical aptitude (preferably trade qualified)

- Eye for detail

- Enjoy working with people, animals & machinery





- Commitment to undergo training

Physical Skills:

- Physically fit

- Basic computer skills, understand the importance of record keeping

- Current drivers license essential

- Enjoy a variety of work

The position involves:

Servicing, Installation, and break down support as required of a range of milk harvesting and associated equipment, with the majority of the work being in the field, these include:

- DeLaval Milk Harvesting Equipment

- DeLaval Milking Robots

- Milk Tanks & Cooling

- Dairy Hygiene

- Dairy Effluent Systems

- Grain Feeding & Processing equipment

- Steel fabrication

The successful applicant will be required to participate in the afterhours call roster within the business to support our customers requirements.

Full training will be provided.

Local and intrastate travel will be required.

Immediate start, with a service vehicle, phone, uniform and lap top supplied.
