We’re on the lookout for a Service Technician to join our growing team! As a key player in the transition to sustainable transport, BYD is at the forefront of electric vehicle innovation and we want you to be part of it.

Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on BYD vehicles in accordance with manufacturer guidelines

Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment

Carry out inspections, road tests, and fault finding

Complete service documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping

Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard, with a strong focus on safety and quality

Keep up to date with BYD’s latest service procedures and technology (EV training provided)

Collaborate with service advisors and workshop staff to ensure timely and efficient service delivery

Maintain a clean,



organised and compliant workshop environment Requirements Fully qualified automotive mechanic (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities

Experience with modern vehicle systems (EV experience a plus, but not essential)

Excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitude

Good communication skills and a team player mindset
