Due to the commencement of a landmark $15M hospitality refurbishment project in the Sydney CBD, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to lead the site team through delivery.
Your new role
As Site Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day running of a complex hospitality refurbishment involving significant structural works, services upgrades and high-end finishes.
Working closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include
- Managing all site operations from start to completion
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel
- Overseeing structural modification works and major services upgrades
- Driving programme, quality and safety outcomes
- Managing site logistics within a busy CBD environment
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors
- Conducting site meetings and ensuring project milestones are achieved
- Promoting a positive and productive site culture
What you'll need to succeed
- 3-5 years' experience as a Site Manager delivering commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects
- Previous hospitality, hotel,
food & beverage or entertainment project experience highly regarded
- Strong understanding of refurbishment methodology, including structural and services upgrade works
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors and lead projects independently
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to drive programme while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
- Trade background preferred, ideally carpentry or a related construction trade
- A proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving capabilities
