Dental Assistant - Specialist practice, steady pace, high standards

Dental Assistant Wanted – Specialist Practice

We are looking for a Dental Assistant who sees their role as more than chairside support - people who take pride in doing things properly, safely, and consistently .

This is a specialist oral medicine practice. Our clinics are calm, well organised, and clinically demanding. Protocols, infection control, and preparation matter here. If you are someone who notices when something is 'not quite right' and feels responsible for maintaining standards, this role will suit you.

The Roles Available

This role is available across our Perth clinics in West Leederville and Padbury , supporting our specialist oral medicine team. Working across sites provides variety, exposure to different specialists, and the opportunity to develop strong technical and compliance-based skills in a specialist environment.

What the Role Involves

This role includes a broad range of responsibilities, with a strong focus on clinical governance and consistency , including:

- Dental assisting in a specialist oral medicine setting
- Assisting specialists during procedures, including biopsies
- Assisting during Botox treatments performed by specialists
- Supporting accurate and compliant quoting for patients
- Taking intraoral scans using our Trios scanner
- Sterilisation and infection control to a high, audited standard
- Stock management and ordering with attention to accuracy
- Supporting clinic flow while maintaining safety and standards

You will work closely with oral medicine specialists who rely on you to be prepared, organised, and vigilant .

Your role directly supports patient safety and clinical quality.

About You

This role suits a Dental Assistant who takes responsibility seriously and values working within clear systems.

You will thrive in this role if you:

- Are calm, respectful, and reassuring with patients
- Follow infection control and clinical protocols carefully and consistently
- Notice when processes are not being followed and speak up appropriately
- Are comfortable using technology and learning structured systems
- Think ahead and prepare thoroughly for clinics and procedures
- Are confident explaining fees clearly and accurately
- Keep yourself, your workspace, and clinical areas neat and skilled

You are someone who understands that standards don't maintain themselves - people do. You work well within a team but take ownership of your role and the environment around you.

Experience is welcome but not essential. Full training and support are provided for the right person with the right mindset.

Why Work With Us

- Exposure to a highly specialised area of dentistry
- Skills and experience not available in most general practices
- Strong systems, protocols, and clear workflows
- Supportive, experienced specialist team
- Free on-site parking

This is an excellent opportunity for a Dental Assistant who wants structure, accountability, and the satisfaction of knowing they help keep a specialist practice safe, compliant, and running well .

If you are looking for a Dental Assistant role where standards matter and your contribution is valued, we would love to hear from you.
