About the Role

Reporting to the Deputy Head of College, this permanent part‑time (0.5 FTE) position will provide professional administrative support across a broad range of resident services including event coordination, communications and general enquiries.

Responsibilities

- Providing exceptional customer service to students, families and visitors.
- Assisting with accommodation administration and maintaining student records.
- Supporting resident onboarding, orientation and transition programs.
- Assisting with student communications, newsletters and digital content.
- Coordinating administrative aspects of student events and wellbeing initiatives.
- Supporting the Resident Advisor and Student Leadership programs.
- Managing enquiries, correspondence, office supplies and general administration.
- Processing invoices and completing a range of administrative tasks.
- Contributing to a welcoming, inclusive and positive residential community.

About You

You are an organised administrator who genuinely enjoys helping young adults. You are approachable, adaptable and able to juggle competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

To be successful you will have:

- Experience in administration, reception, customer service or student services.




- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and SharePoint.
- Experience using Canva to create professional communications.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement.
- A collaborative approach and solid initiative.

Experience in higher education, residential colleges or student accommodation will be highly regarded, as will experience coordinating events or student engagement activities.

Occasional attendance at College events outside normal working hours may be required, with flexibility provided through adjusted working hours.
