An opportunity to join one of Australia's largest window furnishings manufacturers, based in Bayswater.

We are looking for people to start immediately to be trained to manufacture quality, custom-made window furnishings, including roller blinds, venetians, verticals and curtain tracks.

Positions are available in our day shifts (7:00am-3:06pm and 9:54am-6:00pm) for Monday to Friday with Saturday overtime regularly available through the busy season.

A successful applicant will:

- Be fluent in spoken and written English
- Understand secure work practices
- Be able to read, comprehend and follow Work Orders and Standard Operating Procedures
- Have a high level of attention to detail to produce quality product, encompassing:
- Visual inspections
- Differentiating between shades of colour
- Using a tape measure to +/- 1mm accuracy




- Have good manual handling skills and be physically fit and able to lift, push and pull up to 20 kilograms
- Be able to follow directions, learn new skills, rotate between different production tasks, and be part of a cohesive team.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

- Preparation of raw materials to be used in production
- Assembly of product
- Responsible use and respect of tools and machinery
- Assembly and packing boxes and applying correct labelling
- Keeping the work area clean and tidy

You will be provided with ongoing training and support to ensure you have the necessary skills to complete your work.
