TRUCK TECH is looking for a motivated 1st Year Heavy Vehicle Apprentice to join our growing Sunshine West workshop on a Monday to Friday day shift.

This is your chance to learn from some of the industry's best technicians while working across a wide variety of trucks, trailers and buses. You'll gain real hands-on experience from day one and be supported every step of the way.

About the Role

As a 1st Year Apprentice, you'll work closely with our experienced technicians to develop the skills required to become a qualified Heavy Vehicle Technician.

You'll learn how to:

- Service and maintain heavy vehicles
- Carry out repairs under supervision
- Assist with diagnostics and fault finding
- Complete preventative maintenance
- Use workshop equipment safely and correctly
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace




- Follow safe work practices
- Deliver quality workmanship

Every day is different, giving you exposure to a broad range of vehicles and repair work.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

- Has a genuine interest in heavy vehicles and the automotive industry
- Is reliable, motivated and eager to learn
- Enjoys working in a team environment
- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Takes pride in their work
- Holds a current'driver's licence (preferred)
- Is committed to completing a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology

No previous experience is required - just the right attitude.
