Position Summary

This permanent full‑time mathematics teaching position commences Term 4, 2026 at Newman Senior High School.

The Role

As a member of our team, you will be expected to:

- Deliver a differentiated mathematics curriculum that meets the needs of all students and is aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum.
- Apply evidence‑based decision‑making and differentiation to support students from diverse backgrounds.
- Conduct reflective practice, promoting continuous improvement of your teaching.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents and the wider school community.
- Participate in school and community activities, demonstrating the values of The Newman Way.

Eligibility

- Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or hold a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start.
- Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a Screening Clearance Number before you start.
