The Skilled Meat Worker role is central to daily production at Darra Meats’ Carole Park facility. The position involves processing meat to customer specifications, operating relevant equipment, maintaining hygiene and quality standards, and supporting timely output so the business can meet demand from its commercial and retail clients. Key Responsibilities
Efficiently process, cut,
bone and prepare meat products according to customer specifications while maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene.
Operate machinery and equipment used in cutting, boning and preparing meat products safely and effectively.
Maintain a clean and safe workspace in line with health, safety and food safety regulations.
Assist with inventory management and help ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained to support production needs.
Work with the team to manage timely production and packaging of meat products.
Conduct quality checks to confirm finished products meet required standards and customer requirements.
Requirements

Minimum Certificate III in Meat Processing or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience as a meat worker, butcher or in a relevant meat processing role.
