Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced

Snowflake Data Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in

Snowflake, cloud data architecture, and contemporary data engineering practices

, with the ability to lead end-to-end data solutions across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement enterprise data architecture using Snowflake

- Define data models, data warehousing strategies, and data governance frameworks

- Architect and optimize

ELT/ETL pipelines using modern tools (dbt, Informatica, Azure Data Factory, etc.)

- Lead data migration and modernization initiatives

(on-prem to cloud)

- Ensure performance tuning, cost optimization, and scalability of Snowflake environments

- Implement data security, access controls, and compliance standards

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to deliver data-driven solutions

- Drive adoption of best practices in data architecture, modeling, and governance





- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams

Required Skills & Experience

- 10+ years of experience in data architecture / data engineering

- Strong hands-on experience with

Snowflake Data Cloud

- Expertise in data modeling (Dimensional, Data Vault, Star/Snowflake schemas)

- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP)

- Strong knowledge of

SQL, performance tuning, and query optimization

- Experience in

ETL/ELT tools

(ADF, dbt, Informatica, Talend, etc.)

- Knowledge of data integration, APIs, and streaming (Kafka, Event Hub, etc.)

- Experience with data governance, lineage, and quality frameworks

Preferred Skills

- Experience with

Databricks / Spark / Big Data technologies

- Knowledge of

BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)

- Exposure to

AI/ML data pipelines and analytics use cases

- Experience in

DevOps / CI-CD (Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins)

- Understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture
