Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Social Media Manager / Community Manager. The person in this role will manage BREI’s social media presence across platforms, including planning, creating, and scheduling posts that highlight research, certifications, events, and industry insights.

Day-to-day tasks include monitoring social channels, responding to comments and messages, moderating discussions, and nurturing an engaged online community of automotive and BIW professionals. The role involves developing and executing social media strategies, optimizing content for reach and engagement, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent, accurate messaging.

The Social Media

Manager / Community Manager will also track and report on social media performance, identify opportunities for growth, and support digital campaigns that promote BREI’s programs and initiatives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) to plan campaigns, grow audiences,



and improve engagement across platforms.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Writing skills to craft clear, accurate, and compelling messages for diverse digital audiences.
- Candidates should possess skills in Content Strategy to plan, organize, and align social media content with BREI’s research, education, and supplier evaluation initiatives.
- Candidates should be familiar with major social media platforms, community management practices, and basic analytics tools.
- Candidates should demonstrate solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Candidates should have prior experience in social media or digital marketing; experience in automotive or technical/engineering sectors is an advantage.
- A relevant diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is beneficial, or equivalent practical experience.
