Our client is a well-established and rapidly expanding electrical contractor delivering commercial solar, battery storage and renewable energy solutions throughout NSW.

Due to continued business growth, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Solar Electrician to join their close-knit team based in the Newcastle region.

About the Role

Working Monday to Friday (38-hour week), you'll be involved in the installation and maintenance of:

- Large-scale commercial rooftop solar systems
- Ground-mounted solar installations
- Commercial electrical systems
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Selected utility-scale solar farm and bulk electrical projects

The majority of work is local around the Newcastle and Hunter region, with occasional away work when required. The company values work-life balance, so overtime and weekend work are generally minimal.

Essential Requirements

- NSW Electrical Licence
- White Card
- Demonstrated experience installing commercial solar systems or similar renewable energy projects
- Strong understanding of commercial electrical installations
- Current Australian Driver Licence

Highly Regarded

- SAA Solar Accreditation
- Experience with battery storage systems
- Commercial rooftop and ground-mounted solar installation experience
- Utility-scale solar farm experience
