Senior Consultant – Network & Security Solutions

Cube Networks is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our growing Solutions Division , working across presales, consulting, and project delivery engagements. This is a pivotal, client-facing role that blends deep technical expertise with strategic advisory — helping some of Australia’s most recognised enterprises design, implement, and secure their critical network environments.

You’ll work across the full lifecycle: from shaping opportunities and designing architectures to leading delivery and mentoring engineers. If you’re passionate about building secure, scalable, and innovative solutions — and love engaging directly with customers to drive meaningful outcomes — this role offers both technical challenge and growth opportunities.

What You’ll Do

Presales (20%)

- Partner with Account and Business Engagement Managers to qualify opportunities and define technical scope.
- Conduct discovery workshops to capture requirements and shape solution proposals.
- Prepare Statements of Work (SOWs), RFP/RFI responses, and solution documentation.
- Present technical solutions to stakeholders at all levels, from engineers to executives.

Consulting (40%)

- Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, providing expert guidance across networking, security, and cloud.
- Design and recommend fit-for-purpose architectures aligned to client objectives.
- Lead strategic workshops, technology roadmaps, and proof-of-concept initiatives.





Project Delivery (40%)

- Lead design and implementation of multi-vendor network and security solutions.
- Develop high-level and detailed designs, ensuring alignment with best practices.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and quality oversight across delivery teams.
- Engage with customers throughout project execution to ensure successful outcomes.

About You You’re a seasoned network or security consultant with strong technical depth and client-facing polish. You can switch comfortably between design discussions, boardroom presentations, and hands-on delivery when required.

You’ll bring:

- 5–10 years’ experience across Networking, Network Security, Wireless, Cybersecurity, Cloud, or Data Centre technologies.
- 3–5 years in a systems integrator or consulting environment.
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade network/security solutions.
- Relevant certifications highly regarded — e.g. Cisco CCNP/CCIE , Palo Alto PCNSE/PSE Pro , Juniper JNCIP , or equivalent vendor credentials.
- Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable outcomes.
