Starfish in Batemans Bay is seeking an outstanding Sous Chef

Located on the NSW South Coast, we are one of the most stunning waterfront dining venues in Australia. With the capacity to seat 100+ patrons and also host functions, candidates must be highly experienced and professional. Come and work in a popular waterfront restaurant in a beautiful coastal setting.

The successful candidate will:

● Prepare high quality meals for diners

● Follow safety and sanitation practices in the kitchen

● Manage less experienced kitchen staff and delegate tasks related to meal prep, cooking and delivering food to diners in a timely fashion

● Support the Head Chef in all duties

Required Skills and Experience

● Recognised chef qualification e.g Certificate III in Commercial Cookery

● 3+ years as a Chef in a full-service restaurant

● Excellent communication and organisational skills

● Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace

● Experience in Asian fusion is a preference but not essential

Pay: $76,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
