We are now looking for a capable and motivated Supply Chain & Inventory Coordinator to join our head office team in Nunawading.
About the Role
This is a varied, hands‑on role combining supply chain coordination with inventory planning and analysis.
You will work closely with suppliers, freight providers, warehouses and internal teams to coordinate purchase orders, production updates and inbound shipments, while monitoring stock levels and identifying potential inventory or supply risks.
The role will suit someone who enjoys working with data but is equally comfortable following up suppliers, coordinating freight and keeping multiple priorities moving.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor inventory levels across products, spare parts and accessories.
Analyse sales, stock, incoming supply and seasonal demand to support forecasting and replenishment.
Identify fast-moving, slow-moving, excess and at‑risk inventory.
Prepare product forecasts and recommended replenishment quantities.
Prepare, place and maintain purchase orders with approved suppliers.
Confirm pricing, quantities, production lead times and expected completion dates.
Follow up open orders, supplier confirmations and production updates.
Coordinate internal inventory transfers where required.
Liaise with domestic and international suppliers and manufacturing partners.
Coordinate inbound ocean, and domestic freight.
Work with freight forwarders, customs brokers and transport providers.
Track shipments from supplier dispatch through to warehouse delivery.
Maintain accurate ETD, ETA, purchasing, inventory and shipment information.
Review and maintain shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists and bills of lading.
Work with warehouse teams to maintain accurate stock records and investigate discrepancies.
Coordinate cycle counts and support annual stock take activities.
Prepare regular inventory, purchasing and supply chain reports.
Identify opportunities to improve forecasting, data accuracy and supply chain processes.
About You
You will be proactive, organised and comfortable taking ownership of your responsibilities. You will enjoy working with detailed information and be confident following up outstanding actions to keep orders, inventory and shipments progressing.
You will hold a relevant qualification in supply chain, logistics, business or inventory management is required and supported by solid practical experience.
Your experience within a wholesale, manufacturing, consumer products or distribution environment will be highly regarded. Experience with international suppliers, inbound freight or Sage would also be advantageous.
Ideally, you will demonstrate:
Previous experience in supply chain, inventory planning, purchasing, logistics, freight coordination or a similar role.
Sound knowledge of inventory management, replenishment and demand‑planning principles.
Experience managing purchase orders and working directly with suppliers.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
Confidence communicating with suppliers, freight providers and internal stakeholders.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience using an ERP, inventory or purchasing system.
The ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
