An prospect is now available for a Client Liaison Officer to join a leading residential builder servicing the northern and western corridors of Melbourne. Adapting to current housing markets and focusing on the design and development of residential homes they service clients from first home buyers through to investors.
Your new role
Your new role will be to provide high levels of customer service to clients and internal & external stakeholders. You will be the point of contact for a portfolio of clients by assisting them with a seamless journey throughout the pre-construction process. You will also be responsible for the preparation of documents including development and permit applications, contract administration to name a few.
Typical duties will include:
- Manage a portfolio of clients and ensure that project milestones are achieved to acceptable timeframes
- Proactively manage client expectations by ensuring that they are regularly updated with the progress of their journey
- Coordinate and liaise with external service providers, i.e. land surveyors, building surveyors, water authorities and Council
- Coordinate and liaise with Internal stakeholders i.e. Drafting, Estimating & Accounts
- Coordinate and guide clients through the Tender, Contract, Pre-Permit and Construction phases
- Coordinate building permit applications, resolving permit checklists,
obtain building permits to achieve scheduled site starts
- Prepare and manage Council and Developer applications
- Prepare and coordinate the execution and distribution of building contracts
- Work closely with Site Supervisors to coordinate site files and inspections
- Problem solve whist providing exceptional client service
- Database maintenance and compliance
- Provide administrative support to the business where required
- Ad-hoc tasks as required
What you need to succeed
The successful candidate MUST have a minimum of 2 years pre-construction client liaison experience within the building industry. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills along with commitment to take ownership of your work. Overall, you will need to be a performance driven team player who provides great attention to detail in your work and are able to see a task through till completion. Working hours for this position are 8.30am-4.30pm.
