About the Role
We're looking for a strong, confident and experienced full time Cleaning Supervisor to join our team based in the Melbourne CBD area.
As a Cleaning Supervisor, you'll be responsible for leading a team of cleaners, ensuring quality audits are met and work with the broader site leadership team to ensure cleaning standards are achieved in alignment with the cleaning contract.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a team of cleaning staff
- Ensure all cleaning tasks per shift are completed to the required standard
- Monitor and maintain cleaning schedules and rotations
- Liaise with clients to address any cleaning-related concerns and ensure they are addressed in alignment with the respective dua dates
- Ensure staff are trained with regard to work instructions to ensure quality standards are achieved
- Report any OH&S; issues via the standard process
- Assist with the recruitment and performance management of cleaning staff
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend to the site Package Manager for implementation
What we're looking for
- An experienced, confident and strong Cleaning Supervisor who is able to lead a team of cleaners to ensure performance targets are achieved
- Experience operating cleaning machinery eg: pressure washing etc (desirable not essential)
- Experience leading, coaching and mentoring a team of cleaners
- Full Australian working rights or appropriate work visa
- Australian Driver's License
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and motivate others
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment
- Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations
