Project Manager/Delivery Lead

We’re seeking an experienced professional to join our growing Electrical Distribution Network team. This high‑impact role is for someone who thrives on ownership, stakeholder engagement, and delivering complex customer‑driven projects. The role focuses on delivering Customer Initiated Augmentation Works (CIAW) and similar projects, ensuring outcomes meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring successful delivery of projects in line with business and regulatory requirements
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of customer‑initiated projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality and HS&E; standards
- Negotiate project outcomes with customers, balancing commercial, technical, and network capacity requirements
- Manage internal and external stakeholders, including councils, service providers, and contractors
- Identify, communicate, and proactively manage project risks, ensuring minimal impact to delivery timelines and costs
- Prepare project scoping, concept, and detailed design documentation, ensuring compliance with internal processes and QA standards
- Review subdivision plans and provide explicit, practical technical advice




- Act as a key technical point of contact for both internal teams and external stakeholders

What You’ll Bring

- Proven experience within the Electrical distribution / Power utilities sector
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in project management or project delivery
- Strong understanding of network, regulatory, and customer‑driven project requirements
- Experience managing stakeholders across customers, contractors, and authorities
- Diploma of Project Management or tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) are highly advantageous
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills
- A proactive mindset with the ability to manage risk, drive outcomes, and deliver under pressure
