About the Role

This is a pivotal leadership opportunity within a rapid‑growing Valuations team at the heart of RSM’s Corporate Finance practice. As Manager, you will work closely with senior leaders, taking ownership of complex, high‑profile valuation engagements that demand strong advisory judgement and technical depth. You will lead multiple projects concurrently, shape engagement strategy, guide delivery and ensure excellence in outcomes. You will also build and mentor a high‑performing team through hands‑on leadership and coaching to develop the next generation of valuation specialists. Equally important, you will play a key role in business development and stakeholder management, helping to grow client relationships and strengthen RSM’s reputation in the market. This role suits someone who enjoys influence, thrives in a dynamic environment and is motivated by client impact and people leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead valuations of businesses and intangible assets for taxation, transactional, strategic and litigation purposes
- Perform and review purchase price allocations (PPAs), intangible asset valuations,



impairment testing and option valuations under relevant accounting standards
- Prepare and review Independent Expert Reports (IERs) in accordance with ASIC and ASX requirements
- Build, review and challenge complex financial models in Excel
- Manage and grow a portfolio of valuation engagements, building strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to RSM’s quality standards
- Lead, coach and develop junior team members within the Valuations team
- Support growth initiatives, proposals and client‑facing opportunities

About You

You are a valuation specialist with strong technical skills, sound commercial judgement and the confidence to lead client engagements end‑to‑end. You enjoy working collaboratively and take pride in delivering high‑quality advisory outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience

- Degree in Business / Commerce with an Accounting major
- Fully qualified CA, CFA or equivalent
- 4–6 years’ experience in Professional Services
- Minimum 4 years’ dedicated valuations experience (mandatory)
- Strong technical knowledge across valuation methodologies and accounting standards
- Excellent written communication and report writing skills
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- High ethical standards and professional integrity
