About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our growing digital engineering team in a newly created role designed to accelerate Zurich’s digital transformation. This is a high‑impact opportunity to help shape the digital experiences that connect customers with Zurich, strengthen our digital acquisition capability, and support our ambition of becoming Australia’s leading digital insurer.

Responsibilities

- Design, build and enhance digital products, customer experiences and web capabilities across the full technology stack
- Develop scalable backend services, APIs and integrations that support customer and business outcomes
- Collaborate with product, design and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions from concept through to production
- Contribute to engineering standards, technical direction and continuous improvement initiatives across the team
- Support the delivery of digital acquisition and customer engagement capabilities through innovative technology solutions
- Identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, security and customer experience across digital platforms

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer delivering contemporary digital products and customer-facing applications
- Strong capability across frontend technologies, backend development and API design
- Experience building scalable, secure and maintainable solutions within complex enterprise environments
- Demonstrated ability to work across multiple technologies and quickly learn new tools, platforms and frameworks
- Experience contributing to software engineering best practices, code quality and continuous improvement initiatives




- Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross‑functional teams
