Essential Coffee located at Point Cook is hiring a Workshop/Technical person to assisst with service and repair coffee and slush equipment, assist with installations and breakdowns, and maintain a clean, organized workshop. Duties also include some inventory management, packing orders when required, and basic administrative tasks like logging jobs and stock updates. A hands‑on role with a focus on safety and efficiency
Key Responsibilities
Workshop / Technical
- Service, repair, and test commercial coffee and slush equipment
- Inspect, diagnose and replace worn or damaged components
- Prepare machines for installation (setup, bench testing, cleaning)
- Maintain clean and organised workshop areas
Field Support
- Assist technicians with onsite servicing, breakdowns, and installs
- Support machine removals and basic customer guidance
- Follow OH&S;, workplace safety, and hygiene requirements on all sites
Warehouse & Inventory (assisst only)
- Asisst with Pick, pack, and dispatch parts and consumables when required
- Receive deliveries and manage incoming stock when required
- Conduct stock counts and replenish workshop spares when required
- Safely operate manual handling equipment (training provided)
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Current manual drivers licence (essential)
- Current Restricted or Unrestricted Electrical Licence (not essential)
- Previous experience working with commercial coffee machines (preferred, although not essential
- Current police check / Working with children & Vulnerable people or able to able one upon starting
