Kytons is searching for an experienced Baker to join their passionate team and help create the delicious breads, pastries and baked goods that South Australians enjoy.
full-time, Monday-to-Friday opportunity starting at 6:30 am, offering secure hours, a supportive team, and the chance to be part of a well-established and respected SA business.
The Role
You’ll play an important role in ensuring the bakery continues to deliver exceptional products every day. From preparing doughs and pastries through to baking, quality control and maintaining food safety standards, you’ll take pride in producing products that consistently exceed customer expectations.
- Preparing and baking a range of breads, pastries and baked goods.
- Measuring and mixing ingredients to recipes and production schedules.
- Operating bakery equipment, including mixers, proofers and ovens.
- Shaping, proofing and baking products to maintain quality standards.
- Meeting daily production targets while ensuring consistency.
- Completing quality checks and maintaining food safety standards.
- Keeping the bakery clean, organised and safe.
- Working collaboratively with the team to deliver exceptional products.
About You
You’ll be someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced bakery, takes pride in producing quality products and thrives as part of a team.
- A qualification in baking or previous experience as a Baker
- A passion for producing high-quality baked goods
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to consistency
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy production environment
- Good communication skills and a positive, reliable attitude
- Physical fitness, including the ability to stand for extended periods
- A sound understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Current and Valid Police Check and willing to obtain
