We are seeking a reliable and motivated Material Management & Stores Coordinator to join our team. This is a hands-on role that combines warehouse and stores management with production support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating incoming and outgoing goods, supporting production operations, operating equipment safely, and assisting with local deliveries. Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Stores Management

- Receive, inspect and accurately record incoming stock.
- Organize and store inventory in designated locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using the inventory management system.
- Conduct regular stock takes and inventory audits.
- Monitor stock levels and replenish internal consumables as required.
- Process returns and defective items in accordance with company procedures.

Dispatch & Logistics

- Prepare, strap and package customer orders accurately.
- Label and prepare shipments for dispatch.
- Coordinate freight and transport with carriers.
- Safely load and unload goods, including semi-trailers.




- Transport raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility.

Production Support

- Assist with assembly, packaging and quality control activities.
- Operate machinery including cutting, drilling and punching equipment.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and identify any operational issues.
- Support production schedules to ensure customer deadlines are met.

Local Deliveries

- Complete local deliveries and stock collections using a manual company vehicle.
- Load and unload products safely and securely.
- Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time.

Safety & Compliance

- Operate forklifts, overhead cranes and other lifting equipment safely.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Report hazards, incidents and equipment issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience in a stores, warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- A current driver’s license with the ability to drive a manual vehicle.
- Overhead crane operating experience.
- A current Dogging License (essential).
- Experience safely loading and unloading semi-trailers.
- Robust organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks.

Desirable:

- Current Forklift License.
- Experience using inventory or warehouse management systems.
