Working with a respected business in Melbourne CBD, we are looking for an entry level Accounts Payable Officer to join the team. This opportunity is full time permanent and will offer growth into Accounts Payable for employees without experience, or continual training for those who already have experience.

The role:

- Ensure all payables are processed on time and accurately
- Matching, batching and coding of invoices
- Reconciliations
- Handling accounts payable inbox and attending to all enquiries
- Assisting in month end activities including journals
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc requests

The ideal candidate:

- Will have at least 1 experience in an end to end Accounts Payable role (desirable) or have strong administration skills with the want to grow in this field.
- Have excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to influence and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

The prospect:

- Large office in Melbourne CBD
- Salary depending on experience between $72,000-$79,000 including superannuation
- May offer 1 day working from home after probation period
