About the Role:

We're looking for a reliable and motivated garden maintenance team member to join us on a casual basis. Whether you're an experienced gardener seeking flexible work or a subcontractor looking for consistent jobs to fill your schedule, we'd love to hear from you.

This role offers genuine flexibility. Starting with a minimum of three days per week, with additional days available as our schedule grows. There's also real prospect to take on more regular work as the business expands.

Each day typically begins from our Kew base, though we're happy for you to meet us directly on site when it suits. If you're using your own vehicle to travel between jobs, km's will be reimbursed.

Key Responsibilities

Lawn mowing, edging, and weeding

Pruning and hedge trimming

Planting, mulching, and general garden maintenance

Safe operation and basic maintenance of gardening tools and equipment

Leaving each site tidy and presentable

About You

Minimum 2 years of hands-on garden maintenance experience (preferred)

Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work

Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor manual labour in all weather conditions

Hold a valid driver's licence and have access to your own vehicle.



A ute or vehicle with capacity to carry equipment such as a lawn mower is highly regarded

Driver's licence required for this position

Able to work independently and use good judgement on the job

Own a pair of steel-capped boots (required for all on-site work)

Current Police Check and Working With Children Check (WWCC), or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Australian work rights are required for this position

Competitive hourly rate of $35–$45 per hour (based on experience), plus superannuation

Kilometer reimbursement when using your own vehicle between job sites
