Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Apprentice - 2nd to 4th Year

Location: Chipping Norton, NSW

Salary: $25-$35 per hour + Super, depending on experience

About the Role

A growing HVAC contractor based in Chipping Norton is seeking a motivated 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Apprentice to join its expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity to continue your apprenticeship with a business delivering a broad range of residential and commercial air conditioning projects across Greater Sydney.

You will work alongside experienced technicians and gain hands-on exposure across installations, servicing, maintenance, fault-finding and commissioning.

The company works across residential homes, apartment developments, townhouses, commercial buildings, warehouses and construction projects, providing excellent variety throughout the remainder of your apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with residential and commercial HVAC installations
- Complete planned servicing and preventative maintenance
- Support breakdown repairs and fault-finding work
- Assist with pressure testing, vacuuming and commissioning
- Carry out pipework, ductwork and equipment installation
- Assist with electrical connections under supervision
- Complete basic repairs and component replacements
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and site safety




- Provide qualified customer service while on site

- Multi-split systems
- Ducted air conditioning
- VRV and VRF systems
- Cassette units
- Floor console systems
- Ventilation and exhaust systems
- Air filtration systems
- Commercial and construction HVAC equipment

About You

- Currently completing a 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Apprenticeship
- Genuine interest in building a long-term HVAC career
- Full Australian Driver's Licence
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual and positive
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- White Card preferred
- ARCtick Trainee Licence preferred but not essential
