Looking for a better work-life balance without leaving the food industry?
We’re hiring a Production Cook / Supervisor to join our growing team! A fast-growing food manufacturing business supplying major retailers and premium customers including Coles Group, IGA, and events like the Australian Open.
This is a daytime production role in a brand new facility — no late nights, no weekends, and a consistent schedule.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for:
- Batch cooking and preparing products to set recipes
- Leading a small team of 2 staff on shift
- Ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency across production
- Printing and following production sheets and recipes
- Completing stocktakes and basic reporting
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and food-safe workspace
This is not a restaurant role — it’s all about consistency, systems, and execution.
Working Hours
- 4 days per week
- Core days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
- Plus alternating Thursday or Friday
- No nights
- No weekend work
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience in production kitchens, catering, or food manufacturing
- Is confident managing or guiding a small team
- Follows recipes and processes exactly and consistently
- Is organised and comfortable with basic computer tasks (printing, stocktakes)
- Takes pride in cleanliness, structure, and efficiency
- Is reliable and enjoys a steady, structured work workplace
What We Offer
- Brand new, clean, purpose-built production facility
- Supportive team and robust work culture
- Consistent daytime hours (rare in hospitality)
- Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding business
- Exposure to large-scale retail and event supply
Why This Role Stands Out
If you’re tired of:
- Late nights
- Weekend shifts
- Unpredictable rosters
This is your chance to move into a stable, structured, and growing workplace while still working with food.
