Watersave Landscaping is seeking an established Leading Hand to join our growing team, delivering high-quality landscaping projects throughout Melbourne. The Role

As a Leading Hand,



you'll take ownership of projects from commencement through to completion, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Leading crews on site and mentoring apprentices
- Coordinating day-to-day site activities
- Reading and interpreting landscape plans
- Managing project timelines and maintaining quality standards
- Liaising with supervisors, suppliers and subcontractors
- Ensuring projects remain organised, productive and on schedule

Projects include:

- Retaining walls
- Paving and concreting
- Decking and timber structures
- Turf installation and planting
- Irrigation systems
- Playground construction
- Commercial landscape developments

About You

We're interested in speaking with experienced landscapers who have demonstrated stability in previous roles and enjoy building long-term relationships within a team environment.

Ideally, you'll have:

- 4+ years' experience as a Leading Hand within landscape construction
- Proven experience supervising crews and delivering projects successfully
- Strong knowledge across hard and soft landscaping
- White Card and current driver's licence
- Excavator and Bobcat tickets (advantageous)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to quality
