Join us in a pivotal role where you'll become the expert on SME, Agri and Personal Lines underwriting platform performance across CGU and WFI. Using your strong SQL and Excel macro skills, you'll analyse and interpret platform data, deliver meaningful insights, and identify opportunities and risks that shape business decisions.

You'll play a key role in improving reporting capabilities, supporting the transition from legacy tools, and driving greater efficiency across the Platforms Business (UW). Working closely with stakeholders, you'll transform complex data into explicit recommendations that influence both tactical priorities and long-term strategy.

What You’ll Do

- Deliver reporting, operational updates, presentations and data-driven insights that support effective business decision-making across the Platforms Business (UW).
- Analyse complex business and platform data to identify trends, risks, opportunities and process improvements, including automation and streamlining initiatives.
- Provide clear, tailored verbal and written recommendations, translating technical and operational findings into actionable business outcomes for stakeholders.
- Maintain and enhance the accuracy,



integrity and reliability of all platform performance and operational workflow reporting.
- Manage and optimise the ISR rater SQL database environment, including the design, development and maintenance of SQL objects, queries, functions and stored procedures.
- Oversee the ISR rater tool, including maintaining and enhancing macro-enabled functionality, generating business documents, and troubleshooting database and application issues to ensure ongoing performance and usability.

This is a permanent role, which offer a flexible hybrid work model based on the East Coast of Australia.

What You’ll Bring

- 5+ years' experience in SQL database development, complex Excel macro builds, and technology-enabled business delivery.
- Strong analytical capability with proven experience interpreting data, generating insights and solving complex business problems.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel Macros, Tableau and other reporting or data visualisation platforms.
- Sound understanding of the IAG technology ecosystem and experience supporting business and technology solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage initiatives, deliver reporting outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
- Tertiary qualification, with strong communication, stakeholder engagement,



presentation and cross-functional collaboration skills; modelling and advanced analytical experience advantageous.
