Role Description The Staff Scientist will lead and execute experimental programs at the bench and pilot scale. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and conducting laboratory experiments, analyzing and interpreting data, and documenting results in a clear and organized manner. This is a part-time hybrid role based in Sydney, NSW, with a mix of on-site laboratory work and some work from home for data analysis, documentation, and virtual collaboration.

There is also the opportunity to travel (within Australia)



to client sites for setting up field trials and conducting commercial scale pilots. Qualifications

Strong background in molecular biology and microbiology. Practical hands on field and industry experience is a huge plus.

Experience with experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation using relevant scientific and statistical tools.

Knowledge of environmental science, bioremediation, or related fields, with an interest in pollution mitigation and sustainability.

Ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate scientific findings clearly in written and verbal formats.

Demonstrated skills in project organization, documentation, and adherence to laboratory safety and quality standards.

Advanced degree (e.g., PhD or equivalent experience) in a relevant scientific discipline is highly beneficial.

Comfort working in a hybrid environment, balancing in office experimental work with remote tasks such as analysis and reporting.
