Casual Agitator Drivers

Driving a concrete agitator truck for Heidelberg Materials is more than just going from A to B – it’s a key customer service role on the road.

Overview

You will be based at the Margaret River Concrete Plant, operating deliveries from 7am to 3pm, managing the batch plant, and interacting with clients across the region. You will also undergo a 10‑day training program before driving independently.

Pay

$35.74 per hour, with penalties: ×1.5 after 8 hours and ×2.0 after 10 hours.

Key Responsibilities

- Make multiple deliveries throughout the day.
- Operate the batch plant and manage load schedules.
- Use mapping technology to plan and confirm routes.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service to all site personnel.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the agitator truck.
- Comply with all road safety and company procedures.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum HR licence (essential). Prior driving experience is preferred.




- Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical and drug/alcohol test; random testing is conducted on all sites.
- Robust communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
- Willingness to work varied shifts; no two days are the same.
