Job Description
We’re seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist who’s excited about making a difference in the lives of older adults. In this role you’ll deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions in aged‑care settings, working to maintain and improve mobility, strength, balance and functional independence of clients.
- Assess, plan and implement physiotherapy programs for older adults in residential/community aged‑care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing, occupational therapy and podiatry
- Monitor client progress and adapt interventions accordingly
- Promote best‑practice aged‑care therapy and support accreditation requirements
- Participate in continuous career development and training sessions
About the Candidate
Experience Required: Minimum 2+ years preferred; new graduates are welcome if passionate about aged care.
- Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent) and current general AHPRA registration
- At least 2 years’ relevant experience – preferably in aged care or allied health settings
- New graduates who are enthusiastic about aged‑care are encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal aptitude and a genuine interest in elderly wellbeing
- Willingness to work Monday to Friday, and uphold high standards of therapy service delivery
