POSITION OVERVIEW
Dragonfly Cares is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide culturally responsive care and support to children with autism and developmental disabilities at the Melville center. This role is ideal for a BCBA who is ready to deliver exceptional care Monday through Friday 12-2pm. This position could grow with additional hours as the center expands.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Support children and provide direct services to children with autism and developmental disabilities.
- Implement evidence-based teaching strategies (modeling, role-play, prompting, reinforcement, and natural environment teaching).
- Train and supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or BTs.
- Provide ongoing feedback and performance monitoring to ensure high-quality implementation of interventions.
- Communicate regularly with caregivers regarding participant progress.
- Provide recommendations and strategies for supporting social skills development at home and in the community.

- Master's Degree in ABA, or related field
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (REQUIRED)/LBA required or in process
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities in clinic or center based setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of behavior intervention strategies and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Ability to work independently and also in a collaborative environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE (BONUS POINTS)
- Fluency in additional languages beyond English and Spanish
